SECTION 01

About VEIMA

VEIMA is a UK-based brand offering personalised gifts, decorative signs, keepsakes and custom-made products. These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made directly through https://veima.co.uk and use of this website.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Legal company name: VEIMA LTD

Company number: 17425284

Registered office:
Unit 1, 290a Stanton Road,
Burton-on-Trent, England, DE15 9SQ

Registered in: England and Wales

Customer support: office@veima.co.uk

SECTION 02

Products & Descriptions

We take reasonable care to describe our products accurately, including materials, dimensions, finishes and personalisation options.

Screen colours may differ from physical products. Natural birch plywood may show variations in grain, colour and texture. Laser-cut edges may be darker as a normal result of the manufacturing process.

These natural characteristics do not excuse a product that is faulty or does not match its description. Decorative accessories shown in photographs are not included unless expressly stated.

SECTION 03

Personalised & Custom Orders

Please carefully check names, dates, wording, photographs, colours, measurements and other personalisation details before submitting an order.

If you discover a mistake, contact us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to help, but changes may not be possible once production has begun.

Where a design proof is provided, please review it carefully before approval. Approval does not remove your statutory rights if the finished product is faulty or does not match the agreed specification.

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Simply selecting a standard product option does not automatically make a product exempt.

This exception never removes your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed.

SECTION 04

Orders & Contract Formation

After checkout, we normally send an order acknowledgement confirming receipt of your order.

A contract is formed when we accept your order, normally through an order acceptance or processing confirmation.

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a legitimate reason, including product unavailability, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unlawful requested content or production limitations.

Any payment collected for an order we cannot accept will be refunded. We will not materially change an accepted order without your agreement.

SECTION 05

Prices & Payments

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.

The final price, applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed before you confirm your purchase.

VAT treatment will reflect our registration status and applicable law.

We may change advertised prices, but changes will not affect the agreed price of an accepted order. Payments are processed using the methods available at checkout.

SECTION 06

Production Times

Many VEIMA products are made to order. Estimated processing times are provided on product pages or at checkout and are separate from delivery estimates.

Where further information or design approval is required, production may depend on receiving that information.

If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you and explain the options available under the contract and applicable law.

SECTION 07

Delivery & Shipping

Delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods should normally be delivered within 30 days of the contract being made.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly agreed as such.

For consumer orders, VEIMA generally bears the risk until the goods reach you or a person you have nominated to receive them.

An exception may apply where you independently arrange a carrier not offered by us.

If an order is lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us. You do not need to resolve a claim with the courier before exercising your statutory rights against VEIMA.

Please provide an accurate and complete delivery address.

For international orders, customs duties, taxes and import charges may apply. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.

SECTION 08

Cancellation & Returns

For most standard, non-personalised products purchased online, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receipt.

Where goods from the same order arrive separately, the cancellation period generally begins after receipt of the final item.

To cancel, contact us at office@veima.co.uk with a clear statement of your decision.

You must normally return the goods within 14 days of informing us of cancellation.

For change-of-mind returns, you are normally responsible for direct return postage costs, provided you were informed of that obligation before purchase.

We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods as you would in a shop.

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right generally does not apply to genuinely bespoke or clearly personalised products.

Your rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

Return instructions: Please contact office@veima.co.uk before returning goods so that we can provide the appropriate return arrangements and address.

SECTION 09

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

All consumer goods must meet applicable legal standards of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and conformity with their description.

Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include rejection and refund, repair, replacement or a price reduction.

A short-term right to reject generally applies within 30 days, subject to statutory requirements and exceptions.

If something is wrong with your order, contact office@veima.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue.

Photographs can help us investigate but are not a mandatory condition of your statutory rights.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, VEIMA will cover necessary return or replacement costs as required by law.

SECTION 10

Refunds

For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, we will refund the price of the cancelled goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where required by law.

Additional costs resulting from selecting a premium delivery option are generally not refundable under the statutory cancellation rules.

Refunds will be issued within the legally required period, generally no later than 14 days after receiving returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Where no goods have been supplied, different statutory refund timing rules may apply.

Refunds normally use the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds for faulty goods are handled in accordance with your statutory rights.

SECTION 11

Product Care & Safety

Please follow the care and installation instructions supplied with each product.

Unless stated otherwise, decorative wooden products are primarily intended for indoor use. Avoid excessive moisture, extreme heat and abrasive cleaning products.

Use suitable fixings for wall-mounted items and ensure surfaces are appropriate for adhesive-backed products.

Decorative products are not toys unless expressly marketed as toys.

These instructions do not exclude liability for unsafe or defective products or inadequate instructions.

SECTION 12

Intellectual Property

You confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to provide photographs, artwork, logos and other materials submitted for personalisation.

You grant VEIMA permission to use such materials only as reasonably necessary to fulfil your order and provide related customer support.

Ownership of your original content remains yours.

Unless otherwise agreed, VEIMA retains rights in its original artwork, designs, product photography and website content.

Purchasing a physical product does not automatically transfer copyright or commercial reproduction rights.

SECTION 13

Website Use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or introduce malicious software or harmful code.

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but maintenance or technical problems may occasionally interrupt service.

SECTION 14

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, statutory consumer rights or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

Consumer products are generally supplied for domestic and private use. Please contact us before ordering products for commercial purposes.

SECTION 15

Business & Wholesale Orders

Trade, bulk and wholesale orders may be subject to separately agreed written terms.

Customers purchasing wholly or mainly for business purposes may not have the same statutory protections as consumers.

SECTION 16

Privacy & Cookies

We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Information about how we collect, use and protect personal data, and how cookies are managed, is provided in our separate Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

SECTION 17

Complaints & Disputes

For complaints, please contact office@veima.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue.

We aim to respond within a reasonable period and resolve concerns fairly and professionally.

Where required by law, we will provide information about relevant alternative dispute resolution options.

Nothing prevents you from exercising your statutory rights or pursuing a claim through the appropriate courts.

SECTION 18

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our products, business operations or legal obligations.

Updated terms will be published on our website with a revised date.

Changes will not retrospectively alter accepted orders unless lawfully agreed or permitted.

SECTION 19

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may retain the right to bring proceedings in their local courts.

International consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections under the laws of their country of residence.
